Brady's 2nd Birthday

For Brady's birthday we had a party at the park and invited family and friends. The theme was firetrucks so all the kids got fireman hats as part of their loot bags. We had bubble toys, play dough and a small basketball hoop with basketballs for the kids to play with. After finger foods and cupcakes some of the kids and parents walked over to the nearby play area. It was a fun morning and a great way to celebrate Brady's 2nd birthday.

Jarin's Dedication

We dedicated Jarin at our church on Mother's Day. It was really special for me. Our pastor talked about the meaning of his name: "Cry of rejoicing". He sure is our little blessing!

Brady clung to Matt's neck the whole time. He was nervous to be in front of so many people. We are so happy to have our 2 little boys.
"I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry . He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth - praise to our god; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord." Psalm 40:1-3

Big Frog

My parents have a farm in their backyard- well not literally- but they have 3 cats, 1 dog, about 15 turtles, 1 tortoise, and a huge bullfrog (not to mention all the wild birds and squirrels). Brady loves to go to his grammie and grandpa's house and this is partly because of all the fun animals he can feed and look at. The only animal he isn't too crazy about is this huge frog that my brother brought back from the mountains a few summers ago. Grammie really wanted to take a picture with him holding it but he wouldn't go for it. So daddy had to hold it instead. I really think this is the biggest frog I've ever seen in real life!

Jarin- Three Months Old

Here is our happy 3 month old weighing in at a whopping 15 pounds! He's ticklish now and likes to smile and laugh at anyone who will give him attention.
